Senior Scientist

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform proteomics, glycomics and metabolomics research, including sample preparation, method development and execution, method validation, data acquisition, and report writing;
  • Demonstrate competency in troubleshooting, optimization and implementation of challenging and innovative LC-MS/MS assays;
  • Design and execute biochemical, biophysical, and genetic experiments;
  • Participate in meetings and discussions with product development teams to propose and design custom solutions;
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and correcting scientific issues/problems;
  • Support sales efforts including pre-sales technical presentations and discussion on experimental design to improve our win rate in complex sales situations.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in molecular biology, cellular biology, microbiology, immunology, or other related fields;
  • Ability to complete complicated tasks independently;
  • Familiarity of LC-MS assay validation guidelines and GLP regulations;
  • Familiarity with metabolite identification and profiling studies;
  • Able to apply scientific training to solve manufacturing and operational issues;
  • Positive attitude, outgoing personality, hardworking, and open-minded;
  • Attention to detail plus critical data analysis and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Sales Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments affecting target markets;
  • Ensure clear, concise, and accurate communication of service information during sales presentations as needed;
  • Project planning and oversight. Coordinate and develop program goals, strategic plans, and project quotations;
  • Meet or exceed customer expectations and develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.

Qualifications:

  • MSc in analytical chemistry, environmental chemistry, biochemistry or a related field;
  • Hands-on experience operating LC-MS and GC-MS instruments.
  • Experience with publishing and presenting scientific work to customers;
  • Excellent interpersonal, telephone, presentation, oral, and written English skills.
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical and CRO industry required.
  • Positive attitude, outgoing personality, hardworking, and open-minded;
  • Highly motivated and capable of self-learning.
