GC-MS is ideal for volatile metabolites analysis, which has the advantages of high sensitivity, high resolution, and fragmentation repeatability. We have developed an automated high-throughput GC-MS platform with sample derivatization and quantitative method. Therefore, we are able to simultaneously measure dozens of metabolites within minutes, including some nonvolatile constituents.
LC-MS has become the dominating analytical technique in the field of global metabolite profiling. As compared to GC-MS, the mobile phase changes from gas to liquid. Therefore, the technique has a higher tolerance to volatility and a wider metabolite coverage. We offer LC-MS, including reverse-phase LC for molecules with higher hydrophobicity and hydrophilic interaction chromatography (HILIC) for polar metabolites.
CE-MS is a robust technique for polar and charged metabolite metabolites, which provides medium coverage of the metabolome. Although the system stability of CE-MS is less stable than LC-MS, GC-MS, we can offer metabolite analyses using CE-MS, especially for precious samples.
MALDI-MS is an indispensable analytical tool for complex sample analyses. The technique is characterized by rapid analysis ability, relatively high tolerance towards salts, and low sample consumption. Based on the advanced MALDI-MS platform, we can not only analyze macromolecule metabolites including nucleic acids, peptides, and proteins but also detect small molecule metabolites in the low mass region based on various novel matrices.
