According to the number of positive particles generating in both channels and the sample flow rate, the particle concentration of virus is finally calculated. Besides, the staining process is non-specific, no requirement for target-specific reagents, such as fluorescence-labelled antibodies for conventional flow-cytometry methods. Therefore, the measurement method relying on the labelling is rapid, reliable, and cost-effective, having the capability of real-time monitoring of virus concentration.
